SALTWATER GETS IN YOUR EYES

Some time ago we played host to a few visiting anglers who were keen to sample a little of what the local waters could offer. We wasted little time in getting to where the action was and were glad the fish were cooperative. So here are some pics of 3 Frenchmen and an Aussie braving the salt spray and getting their hands dirty!
Three casts were all it took to get connected!

Macks were in the house, and we were glad!

Amazing surface take on FCL LABO Ebipop...

Hanging out on deck...

Over enthusiastic Fusilier got nailed on the head...

Glistening in the sun, 15 pounds of tasty meat!

Getting acquainted with the local Trout population.
Released to grow up...

Hi-speed spinning at its best, when you hit a
wall of Mack!

Cudas hung around, creating a deviation...

Brand new Majorcraft Offblow rod being put
through its paces...

Toothless Mack! A rarity...

Hard fighting critter which turned out to be...

...friendly Noah!

Few cuddles before being ejected out of the boat...

Back to the Mack party...

A rare Brassy Trevally, 1st time I've seen one caught...

More than enough Longtoms around to get excited over...

Juvenile GT on a small popper, great fight on
baitcasting outift...

Another GT, this time on new Jackson Debu Nyoro 40...

Adding to the species list, IMA Gun Peki was the
jig of the day...

Small Goldspot on the same IMA jig...

Mother of all Blue Lined Hinds...

More meat! The speed was addictive...

Hit a bulldozer which fought for 45 minutes and
dragged the boat for 2kms before parting. Evergreen
Poseidon Ocean Hunter maxed out...
More baby Coral Trout. New Majorcraft Alexander
rod turned out to be a blessing, paired with a
spanking new Stella...
Yet another Mack, there was only ONE lure to use...

More Macks to add to the tally, they averaged 6-9kgs...

Big hit that stretched this angler's freshwater outfit to the max...

Elation...

Jackson Pintail, what else?

Nice GT of about 6kgs or so...

Another day, same fish...

Topwater action at its best, with Jackson Tanto...

Then it was back to Pintails, and more Macks...

Another speedster hits the deck...

Big specimen, new Ocean Hunter outfit truly blessed...

Teeth the big bad wolf wish he had...

Schoolie Goldspot were in abundance...

It was a matter of motoring up and casting to the schools...

Hit something big and passed the rod over to Marcus...

Beakie spectacularly jumping into the sunset...

Tag-teamed Sail, an unexpected guest and real fun
on Evergreen Poseidon Ocean Hunter PE1-3 rod...

Pintail neatly pinned in the lower jaw...
