COASTAL ACTION!

Took some time off recently to experience a little of what the waters off Singapore had to offer. On this day we got to do a bit of everything - casting, jigging, popping even - not your average boat trip! The results were encouraging and boasted a few surprises too...
Sagais were very abundant and an easy target with small jigs...

Super fun with ultra light outfit and Jackall Bros Laser jig...

Popping with 40g FCL Ebipop produced this
little Queenie, couldn't connect to any bigger
ones unfortunately...

Landed this small Blacktip Reef Shark and had mates
bust off 2 more which went over 10kgs each...

Pulled a healthy Barramundi out of some weed patches
with the help of the longcasting Jackson Pintail...

Barramundi on the chew...

New Jackson Muscle Shot proving handy in deep situations...

Good average sized fish being hooked...

IMA Komomo II for shallow work...

Jackson Muscle Shot does it again...

A better fish...

Small Coral Trout on Megabass Vision 110...

This small IMA Bta80SR produced this big surprise...
A big Queenfish that would easily hit the 10kg mark...
