GREEN & GOLD!

The jungle beckons again as Tackle Source buddies get wet and wild for some beautiful green and gold specimens. The fishing was tough, as were conditions, but we made the best of it and landed some good ones...

After a fruitless start we get lucky with this first fish of the day. The Major Craft Basspara is all the tool you need for some rough jungle action...

Going heavy with the super-effective APIA Bagration pays dividends...

Going light with the light spin Major Craft MS-X and the deadly silent vibe - the IMA Koume scores this one...

The IMA Koume is the highest ranked lure for this type of work...

Putting the Bait Finesse MS-X baitcast rod to good use. This Peacock is prey to a weightless rigged Jackall Knuckle soft plastic...

Going large again and another fish is tempted on this tough day...

APIA Bagration via the Major Craft Basspara spin rod does the trick...

BFS Style courtesy of the ultralight MS-X rod by Major Craft scores this little Giant Snakehead...

Going light with the Jackall Dagger Minnow fooled this one...

Pardon the bad pic of a nice fish which went ballistic on a topwater IMA Pugachev's Cobra 60 on the little MS-X spin rod...

Another BFS MS-X victim...

The DUO Spinbait takes a hostage...

The action hots up as the day wears on. Here's a nice one on the ultralight Evergreen Temujin 'Spider' rod...

The Bassday Bottom Twitcher is an amazing performer in many instances and it produces here as well...

Its a double with the DUO Spinbait and the Bassday Bottom Twitcher...

Then its a triple header with nice fish getting landed...

The DUO Spinbait and MS-X BFS combo scores another...

While the DUO Teriff Bullet and MS-X Spin rod pairing does this one in...

And the IMA Survivor worked with the Major Craft Go-Emotion baitcast rod accounts for the third...

The action gets thick for a short few moments as another fish is subdued...

The Bassday Bottom Twitcher hits again...

And its the DUO Teriff and IMA Survivor which scores more...

As the DUO Spinbait isn't far behind with another fine fish...

This DUO Realis creation is something special...

And its no surprise that it scores yet again...

As the bite slows a change of lures would pick up the odd fish...

Here its the old favourite downsize lure - the IMA Sukari, which does the trick...

More DUO Realis Spinbait action with another good fish on the Major Craft MS-X BFS rod...

Meanwhile the wildly twitched DUO Spearhead Ryuki gets the attention of this passing fish...

And the Bassday Bottom Twitcher keeps racking up the scores...

Again its downsizing which scores as the fish go quiet...

The DUO Toto Shad has a great straightline stability at speed...

Twitch and pause with the Bassday Bottom Twitcher does it once again...

No guesses as to this guy's fave lure...

We picked off the odd passing fish as the session wore on and the bite slowed...

The DUO Spearhead Ryuki finds another...

A good surprise in the form of a Giant Snakehead to end the day after a good fight on the Major Craft Go-Emotion bait cast rod...

Its the big Jackall Bonnie 128 which remains one of the favourite Giant Snakehead produces of all time...
