ONE GOOD FISH!

To cap off our amazing day with the FCL Labo Keshal 63, as seen in our previous post, we continue with this amazing one lure. But to add to the trophy Snakehead for the day, we were blessed with another incredulous capture that would be etched deep for a long time...

Like before we were fishing the urban drains and canals in Southern Japan. And in these waterways we were surprised to find Largemouth Bass. Like Raigyo these Bass got pretty excited over the FCL Labo Keshal 63 as well...

We thought nothing of the decent fish. But our Japanese hosts were emphatic and whipped out the measuring tape to reveal that this Largemouth broke the 50cm mark. To them this was a proper trophy-sized Bass which many hard-core Bass anglers would fail to see even in a full year's worth of fishing. It was beautifully proportioned unlike the dam-caught fatties, and we were told it would've been pretty old. From the little drain we were fishing, it was surreal...
And it topped off an amazing day's fishing in the least typical of locations...
