PEACOCK BASS ON TOPWATER AND JERKBAITS!

One of the best way to spend a day, is to get wet casting for the ferocious Peacock Bass in the jungle. With trusty DUO lures in the bag the day is almost guaranteed...

We went fishless for a long part of the day but eventually we got one to hit after many topwater misses. And it was a good fish...

The topwater DUO Realis Pencil popper 110 represents the best way to catch these fish...

As the day wore on we had to cover much ground to find feeding fish. It was a tough day but we kept casting with the Jackson Super Trickster spin rod and was rewarded eventually...

The DUO Realis Jerkbait 110SP is one of the top lures for these fish, and are a natural go-to for us...

The search continued for good Bass and we eventually found this beautifully marked specimen which went ballistic with the topwater strike...

The OSP Yamato is one of the hottest topwater pencils and it certainly showed its versatility with this capture...

Meanwhile the DUO Realis Jerkbait produces on cue...

This time it is the 120SP version of the Realis Jerkbait which scores...

Last fish of the day is a nice one which gave a good account of itself. Kudos to the Evergreen Kaleido Spin Cobra Q7 for taming this nice fish...

The OSP Varuna 110 cast along the weeds did the trick...
