SLICK MICRO JIGGING!

Tackle Source goes micro jigging. Because it is almost as much fun as one can have with a fishing rod in hand. We are lucky to have some amazing modern gear to help amplify the experience. Here goes...

There isn't a rod like the Major Craft Go Emotion Micro Jig Special. We co-developed this rod with the minds at Major Craft and this is the result. It has been on the market for some time now but remains the best there is. The balance between sensitivity, action and power is succinctly sweet...

With the proper gear, nice Golden Trevally like this are a possibility on line as light as 4lb. Takes some patience, but the rewards far outweigh the effort...

We have worked on the FEED Lures micro jig, the FLIP, for some time and in it we have the perfect pairing for the slick rod. The catches this jig has notched up speaks for itself. One jig to have at all times we've learnt...

Micro Jigging is not always about size, but sheer variety. The FEED Lures FLIP15 wrecks havoc on shallow reefs...

From Snapper to Scad, to many others...

Any thing predatory, or is the least bit inquisitive, is immediately a victim of the FLIP jig...

Even Squid fall prey to the FLIP...

We end up cleaning up on the reefs with a plethora of greedy Snapper...

Not too mention these huge Scad specie a little further off the bottom...

FLIP jig pinned nice...

How about a tandem of Snapper and Goatfish?

No fish is too large or too small for the FEED FLIP jig in 15gm guise...

These pesky little Slender Queenfish go wild over the small jig...

Then occasionally we hit the jackpot. And a monumental fight ensues with the little Major Craft wonder stick...

An awesome fight and the result is the capture of a beautiful African Pompano on the ultra light outfit...

When finicky fish snub larger offerings, downsizing to a littler profile like the FLIP15 does the trick...

The FLIP jig then accounts for another family member, this time the Longfin Trevally...

We end the ultra fun session with a turbo-charged Blue Runner on the FEED FLIP as well. What a day!
