MICRO JIGGING THE BAY!

We spend time on the water in a bay downunder scouring the reefs with our light tackle looking for action. The result is a mixed bag and some fascinating new species encountered...

Choppy day ahead in the bay as the sun rises...

Snapper in the dark. The rattles in the DUO Realis Vibe helps the fish find it in the pre-dawn...

The scour the reef for Snapper with jigs but find this beautiful Sweetlips with the IMA Gun Peki jig...

We then spot busting Tuna on the surface and cast out the FEED Lures FLIP jig for an immediate response...

And we pluck two from the school in two casts...

We then hit the shallow reefs with the micro jigs and first fish in is a Goatfish on the FEED FLIP jig...

Second FEED FLIP victim is a little Fusilier...

This next fish fights hard on the prototype FEED micro jig rod and turns out to be a nice Tuskfish...

The FEED FLIP is on fire...

Then we hit a sandy patch and pull two Flathead on the FEED FLIP jigs. Easy...

This is a monster Goatfish. These guys go hard on the micro set ups...

FEED FLIP is the jig of the day...

One more new species to the boat, its a John's Snapper on the FLIP jig...

And no reef is complete without the humble Emperor...

We end the session with a special specie indigenous to these parts. The beautiful Maori Cod is a first time encounter, and what a special one it is. The FEED FLIP scores as usual...
