ULTRALIGHT PEACOCKS AND SUCH!

Here's what went down during a morning attack on the local freshwater population which started in the pre-dawn darkness. Ultralight fun fishing at its best!

Blooping a FEED Lures BULB8 popper in the darkness drew a curious strike from a hungry Mayan Cichlid...

Prelight strike on a Jackall Waver Shrimp hopped slow with the Major Craft KG Lights Aji special rod...

As usual we love the Major Craft Go-Emotion BFS rod for this type of work. This time the Jackson Dead Float twitched in skinny water worked...

Its a nice Peacock Bass to start the day...

When the sun came up more Bass came out to play...

The Jackall Tiny Fry is deadly at little baitfish imitation...

Zebra Cichlid were on the chew on this day as well. Any fish on the ultralight BFS Go-emotion rod is ultra fun...

This one liked the Jackall Mask Gene soft plastic vibe very much...

Tough long fight after an exciting strike on the BFS outfit saw this nice Peacock hit the deck...

The Jackall Mask Gene is deadly for applications like these: to fool smart vary fish which see lures thrown at them ever so often...

The aggressive Zebra Cichlids show their love for the Jackall Mask Gene by lining up for the chew...

Hopped slowly off the bottom, the Mask Gene is king...

Another nice Peacock falls for the trap...

And the Jackall Mask Gene tally grows...

Even the little Red Devils get in on the act with the Mask Gene...

Last catch of the morning is a feisty little Zebra Cichlid which also fell for the Jackall Mask Gene like all those before it...
