The weather of late has been horrid to say the least, and its been that way most of the year so far. But that doesn't stop keen fishermen from trying their luck anyways. So a stubborn group braved the monsoonal conditions, launched the boats and headed upriver for a spot of prospecting. As the rains came, out came the buzzbaits! And another juvenile Snakehead to the tally with the Jackall Bros Cracker Buzz, white being the colour of choice in low light conditions...
In the upper reaches of the river, the Jungle Perch or Sebarau reigns. IMA Ligid 70s worked fast in the main flow of the river were a proven technique which no one argued with...
Though no monsters were encountered, a few specimens above the kilo mark were enough to lift damp spirits...
