FLIPPIN' FUN! Part Two

Picking up where we left off in Part One, its the Coral Trout that are on the chew this day...

High speed casting for speedsters can produce greedy Trout as well...

Its the Jackson Pintail 40 doing what it does best...

Didn't take long to find another on the Pintail 40...

And yet another in this awesome string of hits...

Its then back to the jigging action with this little Bigeye Trevally on the FEED FLIP jig...

How about a Yellowtail Scad on the FEED FLIP as well?

A mini Grouper hits the FLIP jig too...

As does a much better specimen...

The FEED FLIP fools them all...

High speed spinning with the Jackson Pintail 35 finds this awesome Rainbow Runner...

Then its back to the Coral Trout from the depths...

On the FEED FLIP jigs of course...

Plenty of fun to be had on super light jig gear like the Major Craft Solpara Light Jig Special when Cobia like thiese are around...

It snaffled the fluttering FEED FLIP jig on the fall...

Cobias usually travelling in packs and it isn't hard to find an accompanying mate...

The FEED FLIP makes short work of it...

Next its a procession of Greasy Groupers on what is now our favourite light jig...

The FEED FLIP jig...

Provides a good feed...

Then the water erupts as a pack of hungry Queenfish move in for a feed. Out comes the casting rods...

The Jackson Pintail 40 is seldom ignored by pelagics...

Moving up to the heavier popping tackle means a bigger Queenie...

The FEED BELL popper scores this nice Queenie...

The pelagic action is thick and furious. This big 'Cuda is magnificent as it is menacing...

It liked the Jackson Pintail 40 as well...

You know when pelagics are actively feeding, the Giant Trevallies are never far behind....

A DUO Aomasa stickbait thrown in finds one...

In the mix we find Bigeye Trevallies too. And like all others the like FEED FLIP jigs too...

Bloop Bloop Smash! GTs on topwater plugs never fail to get the adrenaline going. The FCL Labo UC 74 rod gets its work cut out...

The FEED Lures CONE70 popper scores...

Last fish of the day is another Bigeye Trevally, this time on the time-honoured IMA Gun Peki jig. What a trip!

FLIPPIN' FUN! Part One

Tackle Source hits the salt again with some exciting new gear in hand. It's light jigging off the East Coast with some casting thrown in for good measure. Here goes...

Gear in check, sun in welcomes us as we leave harbour...

Didn't really take long. The first capture is a nice Coral Trout...

The new FEED FLIP jig would shine today...

This seems to be the order of the day. Another Coral Trout comes aboard...

FEED FLIP jig in its element...

Its Trout after Trout for now...

The FEED FLIP is losing its paintjob, but it don't matter...

Tremendous topwater strike and the FCL Labo UC 74 rod is tested by this massive Barracuda. Took a prototype FEED Lure, proves its worth...

Then its back to the Coral Trout action, another nice one hits the deck...

FEED FLIP jig scores...

We then get into the variety as a Greasy Grouper hits the FEED FLIP jig...

Then its a Goldspot Trev on the FEED FLIP as well...

Small Greasy Grouper on the FEED FLIP...

Another Coral Trout to get the cheers back...

The FEED FLIP is rockin'...

Even the little Sea Bream won't leave the FEED FLIP jig alone...

Neither does the little Wrasse...

Nor this little Snapper...

The FEED FLIP is keeping busy...

What felt like a good fish turns out to be a fat Coral Cod...

Victim of the FEED FLIP jig like all others before it...

Two FEED FLIPs = two Coral Trout on deck...

This little Snapper wants some too...

Chucking the Jackson Pintail 35 out on a casting outfit finds this GT hungry...

While this Goldspot Trevally finds the Jackson Pintail 40 irresistible...

A nicer GT which went hard on the Major Craft Giant Killing Offshore Casting rod...

Off course it too fell for the Jackson Pintail 40...

A nice Red Eared Emperor goes mental at the passing Jackson Pintail 35 and is snagged...

As does this Black Lined Hind picking on the Jackson Pintail 40 barely larger than itself...
