At the end of the year we usually get our saltwater plans spoilt by the annual monsoonal rains. Luckily there aren't any lack of options for the budding fisho. So when it came down and we had to stay on land to keep dry, what little pockets the weather allowed, we would have rods in hand, Geecrack bags slung and some freshwater fish to catch.
We are blessed to have access to some rather willing introduced species to cure a casting itch or two. Previous installments saw us after the earlier introduced 'Butterfly' species of Peacock Bass, but this time it was the larger Tucunare or 'Temensis' strain that would provide the challenge...
