Tackle Source is still Downunder in sunny Queensland, this day is spent terrorizing the inhabitants in the bay...
![]() |
Fishing's always best with predawn starts, so we are up and out bright and early... |
![]() |
Didn't take too long to find a fish that's willing, but its a small Trevally on the DUO Realis Jerkbait... |
![]() |
Few casts later we find a better specimen, this nice Trevally put up a nice fight on the FEED Jungle spin rod... |
![]() |
And like the one before, this guy smashed a DUO Realis Jerkbait... |
![]() |
Next up we whip out the ultralight spin outfit and the tiny DUO Toto Shad lure in the hope for a few good Bream... |
![]() |
Instead its a nice Estuary Cod which entertains on the ultralight Major Craft MS-X Limited spin rod... |
![]() |
The Bream stay elusive but a baby Snapper seems to like this CSP Power Dunk diver... |
![]() |
And how about a nicer one which fell for the lithe DUO Tetra Works Bivi vibe? |
![]() |
We then target Snapper with a little larger lure like this DUO Realis Vibe but turn up this Tuskfish instead... |
![]() |
Meanwhile its the ultralight outfit with the Major Craft Para Worm soft plastic which scores another Snapper... |
![]() |
But its the bigger lures worked deep which find the bigger fish. This is a nice Flathead which put a nice bend in the FEED Jungle spin rod... |
![]() |
It took a DUO Bay Ruf lipless vibe worked off the bottom with gusto... |
![]() |
The fishing was pretty hard with changing conditions but as always, a day on the water beats anything... |
