GTs VERSUS THE FEED LURES SPEAR PENCIL!

Earlier we released a video featuring some awesome shallow water light popping action using the magnificent Major Craft Bone Rod. Here are the still pictures of the highlights from the session, featuring the SPEAR skipping pencil by FEED Lures which did the most damage...

On the heavy spin BONE rod matched to a Shimano 5000 sized reel GTs of this size already represent a formidable opponent and we sure lost a few in the extremely shallow water...

The littlest of the SPEAR range, the 30g is FEED Lures answer for heavy Snakehead and light saltwater applications...

The SPEAR also comes in a special EX version with fixed hook points instead of the belly swivel. This version also features special paintwork that so far has been a hit with lure collectors. Here it finds a Bluefin Trevally before being lost to a larger fish...

After a thrilling fight a big GT slides into view, its the most magical moment...

Its a notable capture on the light outfit in treacherous water, and a lucky one at that. It is photographed, swam and released to fight another day...

But not before one last shot of the SPEAR30 with a picture perfect hook up...

If you missed the video, here it is again...

  1. Hi, can you advice on the set up he is using? Is that a Bone PE2-4 or 3-6? And for the reel, Shimano Stella SW5000HG?
