BARRAS IN THE PONDS!

Back to our usual watering hole armed with ultra-light rods to battle with some salties...

First catch is not the biggest Barra but a greedy one for sure. On the Jackall i-Shad soft plastic...

With the ultra-light Major Craft MS-X Limited rod throwing light lures are a breeze. This Barra fell for the floating Spearhead Ryuki by DUO...

Barramundi were the order of the day. They provide much fun on the ultra-light outfits...

The twitched DUO Spearhead Ryuki floating model is magic...

And the Barras kept getting fooled...

These are healthy saltwater fish displaying their beautiful yellow fins...

This one liked the DUO Realis Rozante...

The DUO Realis Rozante is an extraordinary natural swimmer...

And it has fooled many...

Meanwhile the floating DUO Spearhead Ryuki continues to impress...

They come in various sizes and here the 50 scores...

Fish of the day is a good one. On the MS-X Limited ultra-light rod it took some time to tame...

It fell for the floating DUO Spearhead Ryuki like those before it...

Then we whipped out the lithe DUO Toto 42 and the result was the same...

Going 'spy-mode' with the DUO Perakko pays off in a big way...

A burly Grouper on the ultra-light Major Craft MS-X Limited...

On the DUO Perakko it didn't take long to find another willing customer...

Another Grouper for the day...

The Jackall i-Shad accounts for a nice Red Drum for variety...

Then its back to the Barras, on the Zipbaits Rigge 56S...

The ultra natural swimming of the Rigge 56S gets them fooled every time...

Three fish in quick succession on the Rigge 56S to cap the day off...
