SLOW JIG LOVE Part Three!

One last day of exploration on the new boat. This day would be purely experimental as we entered uncharted waters in search of new potential areas for future expeditions...

First drop doesn't go unnoticed as a Starry Triggerfish finds the FEED FALL jig to its liking...

Going deep, there it is hard to guess what we will encounter next. This beautiful little creature decided the SFC Abyss would make good breakfast...

The morning was slow but with some subtle coaxing in the form of some fancy rod work with the Slow Draw, this nice Amberjack was fooled to come out and play...

The FEED FLINT was designed to truly be a dancer down in the depths, and it makes it hard to ignore...

Then its back to catching ooglies from the deep...

How about that for a pair of luscious lips? The Long Nose Emperor is such an awesome looking fish, an are forever welcome on any jigger's line. They go hard!

This one liked the flutter on the FEED FALL in a high contrast colourway...

As did this little Almaco Jack on the very next drop. The FEED FALL is on a roll...

The lightest of the series Slow Draw 3SP ha slowly crept into the hearts of anyone who has used one, it is truly a gem to use...

This GT adds a little spice to the mix with its feistiness...

Hot colour FEED FALL jig on a dull overcast day works wonders...

We wonder how a Starry Trigger with its small mouth would ever be able to attack baitfish so much larger, but guess we will never know the ways of nature. We do know the FEED FALL does its job at task with distinctions...

This is one of the most beautifully marked demersals we have chanced upon. The Banded Grouper has been on the wishlist for some time and here the FEED FALL jig ends the quest...

We even hit a second beauty minutes later, on the FEED FALL jig of course...

The day remains dull and overcast and we make a conscious effort to present jigs of high contrast like this black FEED FALL. The double header of Ruby Snapper seems to affirm the hunch...

And a little further down we find this fine Gold Band Snapper which liked the black FEED FALL as well...

Not every hook up can be a trophy, but every fish is celebrated all the same...

As conditions deteriorate we look to the faster falling FEED FLINT to get down deep and the reward is another Ruby...

As the day draws to a close we sneak in one last hook up on the FLINT and its a decent Ruby to curtail a wonderful and insightful few days on the water. Be back soon!
