SCRATCHING AN ITCH!

Down to the local lake with a few new lures in hand, more to cure a casting itch than anything. What else do you do when the concrete jungle gets on you?

Aggressive Tilapia greets us, chomping on this Zipbaits B-Switcher crank...

The Amazonian Redtails got in on the action early. On the heavy Majorcraft Go-Emotion Baitcast rod it was easily tamed...

The new DUO Realis Crank lure is making waves with some nice catches to date...

A rare encounter with one of the resident Alligator Gars. Good fun on the ultra light Evergreen Temujin 'Spider' rod...

Another great new lure scores. The RAID Level Vibe is gaining quite a reputation in Japan and over here as well...

The ever obliging Asian Redtails were late to get on the bite but were welcome none the less. They go hard even on pinned down drags and heavy outfits like the Evergreen Heracles baitcast rod...

Jackall Bros Pine Shrimp soft plastics proved a gem to use...

Getting the species list rolling is this fat Pacu, the south american terror which gave a great workout on the light 'Spider' outfit...

They go for small lures, and this Jackall Bros Soul Shad did the trick...

Double hook up on the Temujin 'Spiders', double the fun!

A fat Asian Redtail Cat which took a while to land on the ultra light outfit...

The new IMA Spin Gulf was a non conventional lure for these species but worked well...

A grumpy Amazonian Redtail pulled from the snags with some luck with the 'Spider' outfit, tense moments indeed...

The sinking lipless Evergreen Corsair 65 worked near the bottom wasn't ignored...

This hard pulling Pacu was no match for the Majorcraft Arrival heavy baitcast outfit when it went for the Evergreen Combat Crank lure and got snagged...

IMA Spin Gulf pins this rare catch with a nice hook up...

The hard fighting Chao Phraya Catfish is a lure munching specie native to Thailand. They go hard and are a handful on the ultralight Evergreen 'Spider'...

IMA Spin Gulf scores again...

A larger Asian Redtail Cat hits the deck...

A few were hooked up and a couple lost too as the bite went hot. Here's another nice one pulled in...

They love soft plastics and they don't get any better than the IMA Melty Nymph, one of the go-to lures here...

A fat Golden Cat, another for the species list...

It took the bottom bounced Jackall Dragon Bug greedily...

A small Amazon Redtail but with the ultra light outfit, great fun none the less...

The blade tail Viva Kozo Spin worked its magic...

A better Amazon redtail follows, giving the 'Spider' a good run for its money...

The latest addition to the DUO Realis Vibe range, the 52 scores...

A greedy Golden Cat on the big and deep IMA Beast Hunter crankbait worked with the heavy Majorcraft Arrival rod...
